Team Boss Philip Case has a wealth of experience. Find out more about where Philip's rallying career began.
How It All Started
Philip's rallying career began with Irish rally star Frank Meagher and with his help moved over to the UK to work with M-Sport. Here he worked in the workshop assembling the Ford Focus WRC’s and attended the World Rally Championship rounds as rally technician for Ford/M-Sport. He was awarded with “Young employee of the year” during his full-time career in M-sport.
He returned to Ireland in 2003 to work as a self-employed freelance rally technician where he worked with Tom Gahan Motorsport as well as some contract work for Ford/M-Sport.
In 2005 Philip Case opened the doors of his own premises and began the journey of building the PCRS rally team.
Today, Philip and his team are now competing in various national & international championships alongside the ERC & WRC. In 2019 PCRS supported Tom Cave's British rally Championship campaign and his WRC Rally GB entry where he finished 1st privateer and 3rd overall RC2 in a Hyundai I20 R5. They rounded off the year with a podium finish in another Hyundai I20 R5 at the European Rally Championship Hungarian round with Callum Devine and Brian Hoy which was a Hyundai Customer Racing and Motorsport Ireland supported entry. For 2020 PCRS secured the running of Tom Cave to tackle another British Rally Championship as well as the 2020 Motorsport Ireland Billy Coleman award winner Josh McErlean who will both be driving Hyundai R5's. PCRS will also be sporting the Motorsport Ireland International Rally Driver of the year Callum Devine as he attempts his first full season in the European Rally Championship, again in a Hyundai I20 R5 and also supported by Motorsport Ireland and Hyundai Customer Racing as part of the Hyundai Young Driver programme.
