About
Team Boss Philip Case has a wealth of experience. Find out more about where Philip's rallying career began.
How It All Started
Philip's rallying career began with Irish rally star Frank Meagher and with his help moved over to the UK to work with M-Sport. Here he worked in the workshop assembling the Ford Focus WRC’s and attended the World Rally Championship rounds as rally technician for Ford/M-Sport. He was awarded with “Young employee of the year” during his full-time career in M-sport.
He returned to Ireland in 2003 to work as a self-employed freelance rally technician where he worked with Tom Gahan Motorsport as well as some contract work for Ford/M-Sport.
In 2005 Philip Case opened the doors of his own premises and began the journey of building the PCRS rally team.
Today, Philip and his team are now competing in various national and international championships throughout the world alongside the ERC and WRC. In 2021 PCRS won the American Rally Association RC2 category with Enda McCormack and his son Liam McCormack in a Hyundai i20 R5. In 2022 and 2023 PCRS worked closely with the Motorsport Ireland Rally academy and their drivers in the European Rally Championship and World Rally Championship collecting an overall stage win in Portugal WRC 2022 along the way. PCRS are looking forward to the 2024 season.
